Fiker Institute Hosts Lecture on GCC Recovery & Resilience

Dubai, UAE — July 4, 2026 — As part of its Al-Khaleej Program, Fiker Institute hosted a panel discussion titled “GCC Recovery and Resilience: Policy Pathways in a Post-War Context.” Featuring Fiker Institute’s Al-Khaleej Fellows Dr Khalid Al-Jufairi & Rumaitha Al Busaidi, they mapped out how Gulf states can move from crisis response to long-term resilience, assessing the policy choices needed to strengthen regional security, economic preparedness, infrastructure protection, and diplomatic coordination in the aftermath of war.

Against the backdrop of a volatile regional environment, the discussion explored how recovery should move beyond reconstruction, highlighting the importance of institutional readiness, strategic coordination, and a more resilient approach to long-term regional stability.
